Peace, Lace and Love is worked lenght wise. The body is worked in
a simple lace pattern, the ruffled border is created by increasing
every second row within the lace pattern. I recommend using stitchmarkers
while working the border. Layered will this scarf be warm enough to
wear in cold weather, but hang loosely it will also dress up your
outfit in warm weather.
Materials needed:
Yarn: 676 yds/620 m fingering weight yarn.
Sample is shown in Zauberwolle of Schoppel Wolle,
color Frische Fische.
Needles: 1 US 8/3, 5mm circular
of length 47 in/120 cm or
60 in/150 cm.
Stitch markers
Size:
Directions are given for 1 size.
6.7 in/17 cm wide and 78.5 in/200 cm long after blocking.
Directions to adjust size are given in the Notes section of the pattern
Gauge
20 sts / 30 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
